1) Umístění hotelu
Náš hotel Stará Pekárna je umístěný v bývalé staré pekárně, která patřila k zámku a pekla zde chléb i další pečivo pro měšťany i zámeckou vrchnost. V malé recepci je ještě dochovaná stará pec. Hotel se nachází v centru města, a přesto je v klidné lokalitě klasicistního náměstí, jediného dochovaného v Liberci, obklopen zelení a parky, v okolí je zámek a bývalá galerie, kde se dnes konají koncerty, letní kina či výstavy. Výborná poloha poskytuje snadné spojení pěšky nebo městskou dopravou na Ještěd, do ZOO, Aquaparku Babylon, IQLANDIE, Jizerských hor a i do blízkého Jablonce nad Nisou a okolí. Jen 5 minut chůze od hotelu se nachází zastávka MHD Fugnerova, kde staví všechny autobusové spoje a tramvaje.
1) Hotel location
Our hotel Stará Pekárna is located in a former bakery that belonged to the castle and baked bread and other baked goods for the townspeople and castle lords. The old oven is still preserved in the small reception area. The hotel is located in the city center, yet in a quiet area of the classicist square, the only one preserved in Liberec, surrounded by greenery and parks. Nearby is the castle and former gallery, where concerts, summer cinemas, and exhibitions are held today. The excellent location provides easy access on foot or by public transport to Ještěd, the zoo, the Babylon Aquapark, IQLANDIA, the Jizera Mountains, and even nearby Jablonec nad Nisou and its surroundings. Just a 5-minute walk from the hotel is the Fugnerova public transport stop, where all buses and trams stop.

Nur 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt befindet sich die Haltestelle Fugnerova, an der alle Busse und Straßenbahnen halten.

Máte svého chlupatého miláčka s sebou? U nás to není žádný problém. Podporujeme cestování s pejsky a proto u nás platíte pouze jednorázový poplatek za pejska, nikoliv za každý den pobytu. Na recepci si můžete zapůjčit pelíšek, deky, zakoupit premiové krmivo nebo pytlíčky na venčení. Hned u hotelu je park, kde lze pejsky venčit, nedaleko jsou další zámecké parky s volným vstupem pejsků a krásnou procházkou lze také venčit v nedalekém lesoparku nad přehradou, kde strávíte minimálně jednu až dvě hodinky.

There is a park right next to the hotel where you can walk your dogs, and there are other castle parks nearby with free admission for dogs. You can also take a beautiful walk in the nearby forest park above the dam, where you can spend at least an hour or two.

... a ještě trochu historie
Když se hrabě Kristian Filip Clam Gallas na konci 18. století rozhodl založit novou reprezentativní čtvrť pro bohaté měšťany města tehdejšího Liberce, vybral si krásné místo v centru města, vedle zámeckého parku, umístěné na hlavní příjezdové trase od Prahy. Tato čtvrť dostala na jeho počest jméno Kristiánov.
Zámeckým architektem byl vytvořen návrh zástavby, v jejímž středu byl park obklopený pozdně barokními a klasicistními domy. Zde byla v roce 1797 postavena místním pekařem pekárna, která celou nově vzniklou čtvrť provoněla čerstvým chlebem. Uprostřed náměstí stál kostel, který byl zbourán v minulém století, na dobových fotografiích níže je však vidět.
Po více než 200 letech se nám podařilo dotknout se alespoň kousku historie a tu Vám nabídnout při ubytování ve stylovém wellness hotelu Stará Pekárna.
... and a little bit of history
When Count Kristian Filip Clam Gallas decided to establish a new prestigious neighborhood for the wealthy citizens of what was then Liberec at the end of the 18th century, he chose a beautiful location in the city center, next to the castle park, located on the main access route from Prague. This neighborhood was named Kristiánov in his honor.
The castle architect created a design for the development, with a park surrounded by late Baroque and Classicist houses at its center. In 1797, a local baker built a bakery here, filling the entire new district with the aroma of fresh bread. In the middle of the square stood a church, which was demolished in the last century, but can be seen in the period photographs below.
After more than 200 years, we have managed to touch at least a piece of history and offer it to you when you stay at the stylish wellness hotel Stará Pekárna.
... und ein bisschen Geschichte
Als Graf Kristian Filip Clam Gallas Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts beschloss, ein neues repräsentatives Viertel für die reichen Bürger der damaligen Stadt Liberec zu gründen, wählte er einen schönen Ort im Stadtzentrum, neben dem Schlosspark, an der Hauptzufahrtsstraße von Prag. Dieses Viertel wurde ihm zu Ehren Kristiánov genannt.
Der Schlossarchitekt entwarf einen Bebauungsplan, in dessen Mitte sich ein Park befand, der von spätbarocken und klassizistischen Häusern umgeben war. Hier wurde 1797 von einem lokalen Bäcker eine Bäckerei errichtet, die das gesamte neu entstandene Viertel mit dem Duft von frischem Brot erfüllte. In der Mitte des Platzes stand eine Kirche, die im letzten Jahrhundert abgerissen wurde, aber auf den historischen Fotos unten zu sehen ist.
Nach mehr als 200 Jahren ist es uns gelungen, zumindest einen Teil der Geschichte zu bewahren und Ihnen diese bei Ihrer Unterkunft im stilvollen Wellnesshotel Stará Pekárna anzubieten.
